Hello everyone I hope you are having a good day. I really don't know where to properly ask this by but I was wondering how to make text-based simulation games such as this one. I have little to no coding experience but since I am currently home schooled and use my PC everyday,so I believe I have the time to learn.
I am currently interested in making a TV-series based game similar to HMS (have other another idea but not so sure on it). If you have any information you think would be helpful, please send it!
For context, I am in my mid-teens and have been playing text-based games like Total Extreme Wrestling. World of Mixed Martial Arts, and Hollywood Movie Studio for a couple years now.

Hope this finds you well. Start small. Pick a programing language. I use Python. Many people would suggest C++. Follow some simple tutorials for easy programs. Everyone starts with "Hello World". Then go from there.
Simple text based sims are actually not hard at all. You just have a series of variables and you give the user a few ways to control those variables. Then the game displays some sort of calculation based on the users input.
On a side note the Total Extreme Wrestling series is amazing. GDS does a really good job with their games.

Is there any update on this. I'm very curious what you might have come up with.
