I believe it is time to discuss a 4th game in the series.
Some ideas: A weekly format, get rid of the monthly one. Allow the gamer to add more money to marketing.
I know this idea is not something Carey is fond of, but to me, it adds more depth to the game. The current model is basically release the film, it brings in this amount of money, move on. If I am going to spend a lot of time on a film, I like the idea to follow it more.
Just one or two ideas, depending on how you look at it. Any others? I am sure I will add more later.

I would like to see the attributes (takes direction, composure, work ethic, etc.) have an effect on the game. At the moment they really aren't much more than window dressing.

Sorry, but there ain't now way that I'm going to move HM off of a monthly turn sequence. It would require a page one rewrite, and I just don't have the time.
raf, I'll work on making the attributes more game-worthy.
Look for a new version of HM3 with improved Opening Credits functionality. Something I've been wanting to do for years... June 2012. Maybe sooner. Probably not.
Oh, and I may need a tester or two ... if you're interested send me an email with your License ID.
Good luck at the box office, HMdesigner

Come on Carey, you need to listen to your customers.
In other news, a Hollywood Mogul weeps over hearing sad news.

You could pitch pilot episodes to networks, hire a team of writers, choose guest stars every season; then during the writing process you could choose whether you want your show to follow a more episodic/procedural structure or you want a straight up serialized drama. It could be interesting considering there is no game like that out there (or at least I haven't played one). What do you think?

I second that, i'd love a way to incorporate making TV series in the game, would bring about new potential stars to put in the movies plus i think it would be very entertainning seeing if you get a hit show or not, maybe even produce it in other countries too. Btw id like to get verified please lol (petchy88) Thanks.

Come on Carey, you need to listen to your customers. In other news, a Hollywood Mogul weeps over hearing sad news. Following a movie made like that would be quite boring and I already have to do enough clicks to play this game already, making the game needlessly longer like that would make the game boring. There wouldn't be much to do except clicking and clicking until the movies are out. Doing it monthly is so much easier

You could watch where you place in the top 10, and watch as you drop out.

Matt, try to find a way to play Sim Cinema Deluxe. It is an old MAC game that lets you create movies. It goes week by week, but only through doing one film at a time. It is actually quite fun. Sadly, the developer never made any more games in the series, and it has been left for dead.
