one suggestion:
it would be nice if we could buy the right to make a sequel or whatever with movies from other studios

Whoa, this game is happening again? That’s awesome.
If you include the ability to make Cinematic Universes then I’m all in.

Found this game months ago and I must say, I absolutely love it. Would love to see an updated version of it or even a sequel. I absolutely love Hollywood Movie Studio. Thanks for a great game and I can't wait to see what you release next.

I agree that UI is underdeveloped. It should be cleaner and more modern. Something I always think about when looking into any strategy/tycoon game: Complex game, simple gameplay. Something that is complex enough to make the simulation feel real, but with a UI/gameplay simple enough to feel manageable, appealing, and usable. Someone should be able to interact with the many things your game offers without feeling overwhelmed by it. The game does look a bit like a Windows 98 game. I'm not a fan of the new single massive list-style... I think a giant scrolling list makes the game feel overwhelming. Something to consider: Make it easier for the player to decide how complex of an interface he wants. (An example: Imagine a civ builder where you can select a tax rate. Now imagine that you can click something that lets you change Income, Corporate, and Sales tax rate separately, or even get more involved by enacting individual tax bills instead... And you can decide which of these styles you want through the menu or perhaps something in the UI.) An idea for here would be to do something like this: drive.google.com/file/d/1lnBzbVeOxdKfcESJ9HgGTWN0XhmD2fSu/view?usp=sharingIn that example, you can pick two characteristics, or expand that menu to give yourself more control... Doing this means you could have ten or so menus on screen, and the player can expand the ones they want while leaving the rest simple and semi-automated... Also, something you could do separate of this topic: Add franchises (like the MCU. It would be very relevant with today's industry), allow the player to sell franchises, and add the ability to do remakes/remasters along with sequels. You could allow the player to research new things, like in Game Dec Tycoon, but that's not important...

I've played this game for years. Honestly, it never gets tiring. It is such an awesome simulator and I really think an updated version with franchises, TV series and all these new things relevant to today's industries would be awesome. This is one of my favorite games ever. I can't thank Carey enough for making it, and I still hope that one day we'll see a sequel

In HM4 I went with very, very, very simple design. NO GRAPHICS. Just text ... you'll see ...
